Robert Hill (Bud) Pollard, 89, Adair County, KY (1926-2015)

He was a highly regarded citizen of Adair County, KY who made many, many friends. He was a member and Deacon of Hutchison Community Church. He worked for Tabor Feed Mill, which later became M&W Feed Mill, for 42 years. He was a native of Adair County, KY, and a resident of the county at the time of his death. He was the son of the late Mont & Emma Garmon Pollard. His wife, Ethel Brockman Pollard, survives. He leaves leaves four direct and one step living descendants spanning four generations.

Robert Hill "Bud" Pollard, 89, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at 4:10pmCT, at Westlake Regional Hospital, Columbia, KY.

Funeral services will be Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 2pmCT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Larry Wisdom officiating. Burial will be in Haven Hill Cemetery, 1276 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY. Visitation is requested 5pm-8pmCT, Friday, July 17, 2015, at the funeral home.



Casket Bearers: George Pollard, Scott Akin, Chris Bragg, Steve Phillips, Robert Harmon, Robert Harmon, and Bre Stephens.

Honorary: Hollis, Jimmy, Jesse and Joe Brockman, Larry Bragg, Greg Riddle, and Robert Hamlett.

Robert Hill (Bud) Pollard, 89, Adair County, KY (1926-2015)

He was born Saturday, January 2, 1926, in Adair County, KY. He was the son of the late Mont and Emma Garmon Pollard. He died Wednesday, July 15, 2015, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 89 years, six months, and 13 days.



In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Ann Pollard and two brothers, Lester and Grover Pollard.

Survivors include:
  • His wife: Ethel Brockman Pollard of Columbia, KY

  • One daughter & son-in-law: Geneva & L.C. Bradshaw of Columbia, KY

  • One brother: Owen Pollard of Columbia, KY

  • Two sisters: Katherine (Jerry) Williams of Campbellsville, KY; and Louise Brockman of Columbia, KY

  • One granddaughter: Angie (Todd) Stephens of Columbia, KY

  • One great-granddaughter: Bre Stephens

  • One step-granddaughter: Krystal Stephens

  • One step-great-granddaughter: Madalyne Dotson

  • Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
