Nancy Taylor, Liberty, KY (1938-2015)

She was the matriarch of a respected Casey County, KY family. She was the daughter of the late Herbert & Madeline Lee Wesley and the widow of Lowell F. Taylor. She leaves 96 direct living descendants.

Funeral Services will be held 1pmCT/2pmET Sunday June 14, 2015 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel, 142 KY 49, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Ron Robinson and Bro. Ricky Hogue officiating. Burial will be in the Tapscott Cemetery. Visitation was held 5pm-8pmCT/6pm-9pmET, Saturday June 13, 2015 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel.

She was born in Liberty, KY on March 3, 1938. She was the daughter of the late Herbert and Madeline Lee Wesley. She died Thursday, June 11, 2015, in Liberty, Casey County, KY, at the age of 77 years, three months, and eight days.

She was a former caregiver.

Survivors include:
  • Seven daughters: Jean Pittman, Donna Kilgore, Wanda Taylor and Joyce Mina all of Liberty, KY; Sharon Buck of Harrodsburg, KY; Loretta Roloson and Kimberly Norton both of Monticello, KY

  • Forty-six grandchildren

  • Forty-two great-grandchildren

  • One great-great-grandchild

  • One brother: Clyde Wesley of Harrodsburg, KY

  • and one sister: Ivadean Abbott of Cincinnati, OH
Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her spouse, Lowell F. Taylor; four sisters, Opal, Pauline, Christine and Ocie; and four brothers, James, Junior, Skyler and Willard.
