Allan Wayne Buckner, 52, of Columbia, KY, formerly of Campbellsville, died at 7:37pmET, Thursday, June 4, 2015 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY.

Funeral services will be at 1pmCT/2pmET, Sunday, June 7, 2015, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, by Dr. Wesley Paul. Burial will be in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 700 Old US 68, Campbellsville, KY. Visitation will be 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET, Saturday, June 5, 2015, at the funeral home.

Allan Wayne Buckner of Columbia, KY, was the son of Wayne Buckner and Davetta Allen Buckner, was born November 27, 1962, in Taylor County, KY. He died Thursday, June 4, 2015 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 52 years, six months, and eight days.

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church. He was an employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville and Jamestown with thirty-four years of service.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and water sports.

He is survived by the following:
  • One son and one daughter: Milton Buckner of Georgetown, KY; and Paige Buckner of Midway, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Amelia Ann Buckner and Riley Paige Buckner-Wilson

  • His parents: Wayne and Davetta Buckner of Campbellsville. KY

  • Several aunts, uncles and cousins

  • And many other relatives and friends.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Kentucky Organ Donor affiliates and, may be made at the funeral home.
