She was the daughter of the late Claude Price Daffron and Lucy Pauline Crouch Daffron, and the widow of James Lee Edelen, her husband of over 40 years.

Anna Marie Edelen, 82, of Campbellsville, KY, died at 1:20amCT, Thursday, June 4, 2015 in Greensburg, KY.

Funeral service will be at 10amCT/11amET, Monday, June 8, 2015 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home,418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, by Rev. Jim Durham and Bro. Danny Baldwin, Sr. Burial will be in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 700 Old US 68, Campbellsville, KY. Visitation is 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET, Sunday, June 7, 2015 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.



Anna Marie Edelen, Taylor County, KY (1932-2015)


Anna Marie Edelen was the daughter of the late Claude Price Daffron and Lucy Pauline Crouch Daffron, was born September 3, 1932, in Wayne County, Kentucky. She died Thursday, June 4, 2015 in Greensburg, Green County, KY, at the age of 82 years, nine months, and one day.

She professed faith in Christ at a young age and was of the Baptist faith. She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville after forty-five years of service.

She united in marriage to James Lee Edelen January 14, 1955. He preceded her in death February 4, 1995.

She is survived by the following:
  • Five sisters: Eva Spurling, Betty Jean McCubbin and husband, Stanley and Mary McMahan and husband, Jerry of Campbellsville, KY; and Barbara Wright and Lytha Noel of Black Gnat, KY

  • Special friends: Danny and Betty Baldwin of Campbellsville, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends
She was also preceded in death by three brothers and one sister: Tommy Daffron, Phillip Daffron, Claude Junior Daffron and Neva Greer.

Alternate expressions of sympathy: Gideon Bibles, may be made at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, Campbellsville, KY, in charge of arrangements.
