Gladys Rexroat, 88, formerly of Russell County, KY, died Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at the Rivers Edge Nursing & Rehab Center in Prospect, KY. Graveside service for Gladys Rexroat will be 10amCT, Friday, June 5, 2015 at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. There will be no visitation.



Gladys Rexroat, 88, Russell County, KY (1927-2015)

She was born February 18, 1927 in Russell County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Loren & Flossie Wilson Foley. She died Tuesday, June 2, 2015, in Prospect, KY, at the age of 88 years, three months, and 15 dayus. She was a factory worker and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Louisville, KY.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Oris Emerson Rexroat.

Survivors include the following:
  • Two children: Gary (Elizabeth) Rexroat, Louisville, KY; and Melissa (James) Rexroat-Craigmiles, Indiana

  • One grandaughter: Christina Meadows, Louisville, KY

  • One brother: Olbie Foley, Russell Springs, KY

  • One sister: Helen VanMeter, Indianapolis, IN
