Ann Thomas Olt, 66, Green Co., KY (1949-2015)

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Greensburg Baptist Church. She was a retired school teacher for the Green County School System having been an educator for 33 years. She was the daughter of the late Hugh L. & Ruth Parrish Thomas of Columbia, KY. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Bob Olt. She leaves three direct living descendants.

Mrs. Ann Thomas Olt of Greensburg, KY, departed this life on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital, Greensburg, KY.

The funeral services for Ann Thomas Olt will be conducted at 10amCT, Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Columbia, KY, with burial to follow in the Columbia Cemetery, 315 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY. Bro. Todd Young will be officiating. Visitation is requested from 4pm until 8pmCT, Monday, June 1, 2015, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT, Tuesday until time of the funeral service.



Ann Thomas Olt, 66, Green Co., KY (1949-2015)

Mrs. Ann Thomas Olt of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of the late Hugh L. Thomas and Ruth Parrish Thomas, was born on April 2, 1949 in Pulaski County, Kentucky, and departed this life on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital, Greensburg, Green County, KY. She was 66 years, one month, and 29 days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Greensburg Baptist Church. She was a retired school teacher for the Green County School System having been an educator for 33 years.

Mrs. Olt is survived by her husband of 45 years, Bob Olt of Greensburg having united in marriage on June 14, 1969.

Other survivors include the following:
  • A daughter and son-in-law: Amy and Terry Smith of Tennessee

  • A son and daughter-in-law: Steven and Dr. Ange Olt of Greensburg, KY

  • A granddaughter: Hadley Grace Olt of Greensburg, KY

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
Mrs. Olt was also preceded in death by a sister, Sue McKinley.

Memorials are suggested to Greensburg Baptist Church Pre-School Program, or the Gideon Bible Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.

The Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY, in charge of arrangements.
