Mr. William Marshall "Jumbo" Cole, age 66, of the Howards Bottom Community in Burkesville, KY, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green, KY.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 30, 2015 for Jumbo Cole at 5pmCT in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY, with Bro. Gary Cash officiating. Burial will be in the Burkesville Cemetery in Burkesville, KY. Visitation will be after 4pmCT Friday, May 29, 2015 until the funeral hour on Saturday.



William Marshall (Jumbo) Cole, 66, Cumberland Co, KY

He was born in the Howards Bottom Community in Cumberland County, KY on Friday, December 3, 1948, the son of William "Bill" Godfrey and Robbie Cole. He died Wednesday, May 27, 2015, in Bowling Green, Warren County, KY, at the age of 66 years, five months, and 24 days.

He was of Christian faith, a U. S. Army Vietnam Veteran, a Mechanic for Manning Motors and a farmer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Burr Cole and his sister-in-law, Janice Cole.

He is survived by the following:
  • His brother and sister-in-law: Billy and Wanda Cole of Burkesville, KY

  • His sister and brother-in-law: Marie and Gus Kump of Louisville, KY

  • His nephews and nieces: Kevin Kump, Spencer Cole, Katrina Clark and Raymonda Cole Bohn and his great-niece, Kelsi Clark.
Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY, is honored to be in charge of funeral arrangements.
