Theresa Claire Oberding,88, of Greensburg, KY, departed this life on Friday, May 22, 2015 at the Hosparus Care Center in Louisville, Kentucky.

The funeral services for Theresa Claire Oberding will be conducted at 12pm noon, Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY with burial to follow in the Maple Hill Cemetery. Bro. Wilburn Bonta will be officiating. Visitation is requested after 10amCT, Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home until time of the funeral service.

Theresa Claire Oberding, Green Co., KY (1926-2015)

She was born on September 11, 1926 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Benjamin Harry Hooven and Theresa Mary Ebel Hooven. She departed this life on Friday, May 22, 2015 at the Hosparus Care Center in Louisville, Kentucky. She was 88 years, eight months, and 11 days of age.

Survivors include the following:
  • Three daughters and sons-in-law: Rosemary and Ricky Matney of Greensburg, KY; Darlene and Royce West of Olaton, KY; and Rebecca and Arthur Klaff of Greensburg, KY
  • A son: Richard Oberding of California
  • A special niece: Linda Bogan of Ohio
  • Eleven grandchildren
  • Twenty-one great-grandchildren
  • and a host of other relatives and friends
Mrs. Oberding was also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters: Hank Hooven, Frederick Hooven, Anna Siefert, and Nellie Shoemake. The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the family burial expenses, which can be made at the funeral home.
