Donald Edgar Mason passed away Friday, May 22, 2015 at his home in Liberty, KY. He was 67.

Funeral services are at 9amCT/10amET, Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 757 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Robert Atwood officiating. Burial will follow in Mason Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday, May 26, 2015, 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET, at the funeral home.

Born Friday, August 29, 1947 in Casey County, KY, he was the son of the late Ed Mason and Lula Luttrell Mason. He died Friday, May 22, 2015, in Liberty, Casey County, KY, at the age of 67 years, eight months, and 23 days.

He was a retired security officer.

Survivors include the following:
  • A son: Brandon Mason of Liberty, KY

  • Two daughters: Rhonda (and Joseph) Giacona of Plainfield, IL; and Donna (and John) Welsh of Burbank, IL

  • Four grandchildren

  • Two sisters: Jessie Reid and Charlotte Luttrell, both of Liberty, KY

  • A special niece, Rochelle Luttrell of Liberty, KY
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda McDonald Mason; and a brother, Dwayne Mason.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 757 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY.
