Mrs. Alva Mae Morrison, 96, Green Co., KY (1919-2015) She was the wife of the late Russell Morrison, Sr., with whom she had shared many happy years. Mrs. Morrison was retired from the Fruit of the Loom plant in Campbellsville. She professed faith in Christ and was of the Church of God faith. Her sharp mind and quick wit will be long remembered by all who knew her. Mrs. Alva Mae Milby Morrison was born in Green County, Kentucky on February 17, 1919 into the marriage of the late Nearce Clay and Shirley (Madden) Milby. She entered into eternal rest on Friday, May 15, 2015 at the Jane Todd Memorial Hospital in Greensburg, having attained the age of 96 years, 2 months, and 28 days. There will be a graveside funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Morrison on Sunday, May 17, 2015 at the Greensburg City Cemetery, North Main Street, Greensburg, KY 42743 at 2pmCT/3pmET Bro. James Walker will be officiating. There will be no public visitation. She was the wife of the late Russell Morrison, Sr., with whom she had shared many happy years. Mrs. Morrison was retired from the Fruit of the Loom plant in Campbellsville. She professed faith in Christ and was of the Church of God faith. Her sharp mind and quick wit will be long remembered by all who knew her. Mrs. Morrison leaves to cherish her memory:
