Mrs. Blanche Helen Judd Kidd Curry, 88, of Green County, KY, and departed this life on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at the Golden Living Center-Green Hill in Greensburg, KY.

The funeral services for Mrs. Blanche Helen Judd Kidd were conducted at 2pmCT, Friday, May 15, 2015 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street in Greensburg, KY, with burial in the Pierce Community Cemetery. Bro. Boyce T. Houk, Jr. officiated. Visitation was 4pm-8pmCT, Thursday, May 14, 2015, at the funeral home.



Pallbearers: Ronnie Wooley; Alan Wooley, Melvin Bradley, Joey Rainwater, Adam Rainwater,Michael Judd, James Junior Curry, and Chester Bohannon.

She was the daughter of the late Daniel Ed Judd and Lura Warf Judd. She was born on Monday, August 2, 1926 in Green County, KY. She died Tuesday, May 12, 2015, in Greensburg, Green County, KY. She was 88 years, nine months, and 10 days of age.

She united in marriage to Loysble Green Curry on February 6, 1966 who preceded her in death on February 5, 1968.

Survivors include the following:

  • Four sons and a daughter-in-law: Willie and Carol Kidd of Indiana; Jimmy Kidd of Crestwood, KY; Tom Kidd of Greensburg, KY; James Junior Curry and his friend Johnita Garmon of Glasgow, KY

  • Two daughters and two sons-in-law: Linda and Chester Bohannon of Indiana, and Sheila and Donald Mattingly of Knifley, KY

  • Ten grandchildren

  • Nineteen great-grandchildren

  • Two great-great-grandchildren

  • and a host of other relatives and friends
Mrs. Curry was also preceded in death by a brother: Paul Judd; and two sisters: Clovis Young and Elizabeth Houk.
