Mrs. Lois Matney Houk, Green Co., KY (1925-2015) She was a native of Green County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Robert & Zada Young Matney and the widow of Doyce Houk. She leaves 18 direct living descendants. Mrs. Houk had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Little Barren Separate Baptist Church. She was a homemaker. Funeral service will be at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W Court Street, Greensburg, KY, at 10amCT, Friday, May 15, 2015, with Bro. Meryl Young, Bro. Todd Young, and Bro. Randy Shaw officiating. Burial will be in Little Barren Cemetery, Little Barren Community of Green County, KY. Visitation will be 3pm-8pmCT, Thursday, May 14, 2015, and after 7amCT, Friday at the funeral home. Pallbearers: Chris Houk, Caleb Shaw, Luke Wilson, Eli Young, Levi Shaw, Isaac Young, Cole Wilson, Jacob Shaw, Kerr Isidore. Mrs. Lois Matney Houk, Green Co., KY (1925-2015) Mrs. Lois Matney Houk was born September 17, 1925 in Green County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Zada Young Matney. She departed this life Tuesday May 12, 2015 at the Metcalfe Healthcare Center in Edmonton, KY, having attained the age of 89 years, seven months and 25 days. Mrs. Houk had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Little Barren Separate Baptist Church. She was a homemaker. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Doyce Houk, on July 12, 1999. She is also preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters: Lloyd, Sonny, Woodrow, Cecil and Johnnie Matney, Evelyn Edwards and Dellie Curry. She is survived by the following:
