Anna Jo Janes, 78, of Greensburg, KY, died Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at 7:50pmCT, at her home.

Funeral service will Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 11amCT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Pastor Homer Stephens officiating. Visitation will be after 5pmCT, Friday, May 15, 2015. Cremation has been chosen as final disposition.



Anna Jo Janes, 78, Greensburg, KY (1936-2015)

She was born September 19, 1936, in Davidson, TN. She was the daughter of the late Delmer and Mamie Poston Ledbetter. She died Tuesday, May 12, 2015, in Greensburg, Green County, KY, at the age of 78 years, seven months, and 23 days.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Janes and a son, Danny Lee Janes.

She was a member of Calvary Temple at Garlin and a homemaker.

Survivors include:
  • One son: Wendell Janes of Greensburg, KY

  • One daughter: Tammy Whitlow of Edmonton, KY

  • One sister: Lois Baker of Greensburg, KY

  • Two brothers: Jimmy Poston of Cookeville, TN; and Gerald Bilbrey of Clearwater Beach, FL

  • Five grandchildren: Crystal Parrish, Zachary Janes, Christopher Janes, Kenny Dile, Jr., Chesaney Dile

  • and nine great-grandchildren

  • A special care-giver: Kim Scott of Greensburg, KY
