Brenda Sue Rhinehart Burton, Knob Lick, KY (d. 9 May 2015)

She was the daughter of the late Millard and Mattie Tomblin Rhinehart, and the widow of Donn Burton. She leaves eight direct living descendants and family in Metcalfe, Barren, Adair and other areas of Kentucky and out of state. She was a homemaker.

Brenda Sue Rhinehart Burton age 60 of Knob Lick, KY, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2015 at NHC Healthcare in Glasgow, KY.

Funeral services for Brenda Sue Rhinehart Burton will be held 1pmCT, Tuesday, May 12, 2015, at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, with burial in the Clack Cemetery. Visitation will be 2pm-8pmCT, Monday, May 11, 2015 and after 9amCT, Tuesday, at the funeral home.



She was the daughter of the late Millard and Mattie Tomblin Rhinehart. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by the following:
  • Three sons: David (Ivy) Simpson of Hiseville, KY; Cleston (Angie) Simpson of Indiana; and Roger (Angela) Simpson of Knob Lick, KY

  • Three brothers: Junior Rhinehart of Sulphur Well, KY; Larry Rhinehart of Hiseville, KY; and Roger Rhinehart of Breeding, KY

  • Four grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Don Burton; two brothers, William and Rondell Rhinehart; two sisters, Linda Ennis and Francis Cook; and a grand daughter, Heather Nichole Lynn Simpson. Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, in charge of arrangements.
