Oscar Sizemore, 59, of Jamestown, KY passed away on Monday May 4,2015 at the Russell County Hospital, Russell Springs, KY.

Funeral services for Oscar Sizemore will be Thursday, May 7,2015 1pmCT at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY with Bro. Tim Ratcliff officiating. Friends may visit after 11amCT on Thursday, at the funeral home Burial will be in the Murray Cemetery, Warriner Ridge Road, Jamestown, KY



Oscar Sizemore, 59, Russell County, KY (1966-2015)


Oscar was born in Pineville, Bell County, KY on November 30, 1955, a son of the late Ruby (Allen) and Curley Sizemore. He died Monday, May 4, 2015, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 59 years, five months, and 4 days.

He was the husband of Carol Marcum Sizemore.

Oscar is survived by the following:
  • Five sons: Jimmie (Jessica) Sizemore and Jacob Sizemore of Detroit, MI; Joseph (Leigh Ann) Sizemore of Russell Springs, KY; Johnathon and Jared Sizemore of Jamestown, KY;

  • One brother: Alonzo Sizemore, of Manchester, KY

  • Three sisters: Mary Ann Roberts, of Lexington, KY; Sherry Sue Brumbley of London, KY; and Jean Rich, of Rockville, IN

  • Eleven grandchildren
He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Arnold and Monroe Sizemore, one sister Barbara Jo Macina.
