Hobert Eads, 89, Windsor, KY (1925-2015)

He was a member of Jennie's Chapel United Methodist Church and worked as a Farmer and Logger. His wife of 68 years, Reatha Luttrell Eads, survives. He leaves 26 direct living descendants.

Hobert Eads of Windsor, KY, was born in Liberty, Casey County, KY on July 28, 1925 a son of the late Luella (Luttrell) and Ruben Eads. passed away Friday, April 24, at his residence in Windsor, KY, at the age of 89 years, eight months, and 27 days.

Funeral Services at Wilson Funeral Home, Russell Springs, KY, at 10amCT, on Monday, April 27, 2015, with Bro. Wayne Coe officiating. Interment will be in the South Fork Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5am-7pmCT, on Sunday, April 26, 2015, at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 E Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY.



He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Reatha (Luttrell) Eads who survives.

He is also survived by the following:
  • A daughter, Phyllis West, of Russell Springs, KY

  • Two sons: Bobby Eads, of Windsor, KY; and Jerry Eads, of Somerset, KY

  • Fifteen grandchildren

  • Eight great-grandchildren

  • Two sisters: Delois Stargle, of Liberty, KY; and Irene Stargel, of Illinois
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Janice Pevely and one son, Roger Eads. He was a member of Jennie's Chapel United Methodist Church and worked as a Farmer and Logger.
