Edith M Fletcher Wilson, age 77, of Edmonton, KY, died Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at the TJ Samson hospital.

Funeral services will be Friday, April 24, 2015 at 2pmCT, at the McMurtrey Funeral Home, 2232 Summer Shade Road, Summer Shade, KY, with burial to follow in the Basil Wilson cemetery. Visitation will begin Friday, April 24, 2014, at 10amCT, until funeral time.

She was born January 21, 1938 in Beaumont, Metcalfe County, KY. She was the late Raymond Thomas and Alice Grace Estes Fletcher. She died Sunday, April 22, 2015, in Glasgow, Barren County, KY, at the age of 77 years, three months, and one day.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by the following:
  • One sister: Mary Nell (Freddie) Wilson of Edmonton, KY
  • One brother: Ray Fletcher of Edmonton, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews
In addition to her parents, she was preceeded in death by her husband Mervin Wilson and one brother Clyde Fletcher.

Memorials are suggested to the Basil Wilson cemetery or the Summer Shade Fire Department, and can be left at the funeral home.

McMurtrey Funeral Home, 2232 Summer Shade, KY, in charge of arrangements.
