Paula Fulp, Adair Co., KY (1944-2015)

She brought cheery warmth to the Vester Community of Adair County, KY throughout her long residence in the community. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, especially at the store and with her home congregation.

Paula Fulp of Columbia, Adair County, KY was born on Monday, November 20, 1944 in Anderson, Madison County, IN. She passed away Monday, April 20, 2015 At 5:30pmET, at Hosparus In Patient Care Center in Louisville, Jefferson County KY after an illness. She was 70 years, five months of age. She was the daughter of the late Ernest & Evelyn Genvie Ashby Fulp. She is survived by special friend and longtime companion of 37 years Laymon Norris of of Columbia, KY.

Her home church was Bearwallow United Methodist Church, 6080 Liberty Road, where the funeral service will be held on Friday, April 24, 2015 at 1pmCT in the church's Fellowship Hall, located behind the church, with the pastor, Rev. Glenn LaFond, officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will be after 11amCT, Friday, in the Bearwallow Fellowship Hall.



Pallbearers: Hobby Richard, Roger Richard, Ryan Fuller, Jim Brown, Eric Antle and Doug Grider

In addition to her long-time companion, Laymon Norris, she is survived by the following:
  • Two daughters: Kelley Ford and partner Suzy Anderson of Lexington, KY and Melissa (Hobby) Richard of Columbia, KY

  • Two sons: Michael (Debbie) Norris of Indianapolis, IN & Mark Norris of Tifton, Ga.
  • Two sons: Michael (Debbie) Norris of Indianapolis, IN, and Mark Norris of Tifton, Ga.

  • Two brothers: Earl Crouse of Anderson, IN and Jeff D. Pierce of Pendleton, IN

  • Grandchildren: Roger Wesley Richard, Kala Norris, Myka Norris, Nathan Norris, Nicholas Norris, Austin Norris

  • Great grandchild: Rayson Wesley Richard

  • Several nieces, nephews

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
