Regina (Speedy) M. McBeath Steely, Russell Co., KY (1936-2015)

She was very devoted to her family and enjoyed filling them up with good country cooking. Being raised on the farm, she knew the value of hard work and that showed in her 47 year tenure at Keebler. Her beach bag was always at the ready and she loved taking spontaneous trips to be with family at the lake. To know her was to love and admire her.

Regina "Speedy" Meece McBeath Steely, 78, was born October 14, 1936 in Russell County to the late Arno and Pearl Smith Meece. She died Wednesday, April 8, 2015, at the age of 78 years, five months, and 25 days.

Graveside service for Regina "Speedy" Meece McBeath Steely wil be 11amCT, Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at the Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery in Russell County, KY, with Bro. David Barnard officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 13, 2015 at Craver-Riggs Funeral Home, 529 Main Street, Milford, Ohio from 6pm-8pmCT/7pm-9pmET.



She was preceded in death by her husbands, Delvin McBeath and Bobby Roy Steely; her daughter, Rebecca Lynn McBeath; 3 sisters, Ida Lou Bryant, Alena Blair, Margaret McBeath

Survivors include the following:
  • A son: Troy (Kim) McBeath

  • Three grandaughters: Brittany (Joe) Mattingly, Tiffany (Nick) Scott, and Courttany McBeath.

  • One great grandson: Jordan McBeath

  • A sister: Mary Helen Davis

  • Several nieces and nephews also survive
