Vernice A. Wisdom, 86, of Jamestown, KY, died Friday, April 10, 2015 at the Fair Oaks Nusring Home in Jamestown.

Funeral service for Vernice Wisdom will be 2pmCT, Sunday, April 12, 2015 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Willard Bryant officiating. Visitation will be after 1pmCT, Sunday. Burial will be in the Wisdom Cemetery. Special music will be by Brigett & Lisha Popplewell

She was born December 1, 1928 in Russell County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Ransom V. & Odra Coffey Popplewell. She died Friday, April 10, 2015, in Jamestown, Russell County, KY, at the age of 86 years, four months, and nine days.

She was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a great grandson, Joshua Edison Wisdom.

Survivors include the following:
  • Her husband: Wilbur Wisdom, Jamestown, KY

  • Two sons: Gary (Margie) Wisdom, Russell Springs, KY; Terry (Pam) Wisdom, Louisville, KY

  • Five grandchildren

  • Five great grandchildren

  • Two great great grandchildren
