Herman Ed Meeks, 80, Casey Co., KY (1935-2015)

He was a logger and a member of the Dunnville Church of God. He was a native of Casey County, the soln of the late Robert and Delta Sallee Meeks. His beloved wife, Beverly Wethington Meeks, survives. He leaves three direct living descendants.

Herman Ed Meeks passed away Wednesday, March, 18, 2015 at the Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, KY. He was 80.

Funeral services are 1pmCT/2pmET, Friday, March 20, 2015 at McKinney-brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Ted Stidham officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Antioch Cemetery. Visitation is Friday 10am-1pmCT/11am-2pmET, at the funeral home.



Herman Ed Meeks, 80, Casey Co., KY (1935-2015)

Born February 19, 1935 in Casey County, KY, he was the son of the late Robert and Delta Sallee Meeks. He died Wednesday, March 18, 2015, in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY, at the age of 80 years, 27 days.

He was a logger and a member of the Dunnville Church of God.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Beverly Wethington Meeks of Dunnville, KY, and the following:
  • A son: Michael Meeks of Dunnville, KY

  • Two grandchildren

  • Three brothers: David Ronald (and Janett) Meeks of Dunnville, KY; Stanley (and Jewell) Meeks of Liberty, KY; and Marvin Meeks of Dunnville, KY
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers, Hershel Meeks, Roy Lee Meeks, and Ernest Meeks; and a sister, Matrie Pendleton.

In lieu of flowers, donation may be given to help offset the funeral cost.
