She was a native of Adair County, KY, and a resident of the county at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late Willie and Gladys Corbin Harmon and the widow of Rev. Austin Loy. She leaves nine direct living descendants. She attended Solid Rock Church.

Marie Harmon Loy, 79, of Columbia, KY, died Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at 12:10pmCT, at the Russell County Hospital in Russell Springs, KY.

The funeral service will be Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 1pmCT at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Rev. Wayne Keith and Rev. Glenn McInteer officiating. Burial will be in Columbia Cemetery, 315 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be after 1pmCT, Friday, March 13, 2014.



Casket Bearers: Autry Loy, Patrick Loy, Kishia Kerr, Gary Rooks, Anthony Burton, Ronald Ford.

Marie Loy was born December 31, 1935 in Adair County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Willie and Gladys Corbin Harmon. She died Tuesday, March 10, 2015, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 79 years, two months, and 10 days.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Austin Loy on August 30, 2005. She attended Solid Rock Church.

Survivors include:
  • One son - Autry (Joyce) Loy of Columbia
  • Two daughters - Naomi Kerr of Glensfork, Nioki (Gary) Rooks of Columbia
  • One brother - James Harmon of Greensburg
  • Four sisters - Mary Moss of Greensburg, Anna Lou Shirley and Lizzie Veatch both of Columbia, Rosella Bennett of Russell Springs
  • Two grandchildren - Patrick (Brandy) Loy and Kishia Kerr
  • Four great-grandchildren - Anthony, Halle, Joshua & Zachary
  • Several other relatives and friends
