Lady Indians fall to state's top team, Elizabethtown

ACHS team plays Elizabethtown closer than any other Fifth Region team had, last night at North Hardin High School in Radcliff, KY

By Brent Campbell

Despite a brilliant effort, the Adair County Lady Indians' season came to an end tonight, March 6, 2015, after falling to the number one team in the state the Elizabethtown Lady Panthers.

The Lady Indians trailed by seven at halftime and by only three early in the third quarter. The Lady Panthers (30-2) used their size and quickness in the fourth quarter to finish the game with a 23 point margin 73-50. Our Lady Indians played them closer than any other Fifth Region team this season. The Lady Indians finished the year with a 25-7 record. Congratulations ladies on a great season. Alex Keltner and Harlee Smock were both named to the 5th Region All-Tournament team. --Brent Campbell
