Bro. Mike Watts, Clinton Co., KY (d. 30 Jan 2015)

He was a member and former minister of Albany First Baptist Church and was a former pastor of Columbia Baptist Church, Columbia, KY. He was a trustee of Campbellsville University and a member of the CU Church Relations Council. His wife, Allice Watts, survives. He leaves four direct living descendants.

Bro. Mike Watts, age 77, of Atlanta, Georgia and formerly of Albany, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, January 30, 2015 at Harbor Grace Hospice in Atlanta.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 11amCT, at Albany First Baptist Church, 110 W Cumberland Street, Albany, KY, with Bro. Jeff Brown officiating. Burial will be in the Memorial Hill Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky. The family will receive friends after 5pmCT on Friday, February 6, 2015 at Campbell-New Funeral Home, 115 Cross Street, Albany, KY, and at Albany First Baptist Church on Saturday, February 7, 2015 after 7amCT, until the funeral hour.



He was the son of the late Carl Ruble and Julia (Watkins) Watts. He was a member and former minister of Albany First Baptist Church, and was a former pastor of Columbia Baptist Church, Columbia, KY. He was a trustee of Campbellsville University and a member of the CU Church Relations Council.

Bro. Watts is survived by his wife, Alice (Brent) Watts,and the following:
  • His son: Michael Willis Watts, Atlanta, GA

  • His daughter: Cami Dee Watts, Atlanta, GA,

  • Two grandchildren: Michael Barrett Watts and Danielle Watts, all of Atlanta, GA

  • A very large church family and many, many other friends and loved ones.
In lieu of flowers the family request contributions to the Albany First Baptist Church Building Fund. Campbell-New Funeral Home of Albany, Kentucky is honored to be in charge of Arrangements.
