He was a truck driver. He was a native of Russell County, KY, and a resident of the county at the time of his death. He was the son of the late John Thomas & Nellie Mae Daniel Johnson. His wife, Nova Ann Johnson, survives. He leaves 25 direct living descendants.

Arlo Johnson, 75, of Russell Springs, KY, died Monday, February 2, 2015 at the Fair Oaks Nursing Home in Jamestown, KY.

Funeral service for Arlo Johnson will be 12pmCT, Thursday, February 5, 2015 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Billy Dunbar officiating. Visitation after 5pmCT, Wednesday February 4, 2015 at the funeral. Burial in the Hugh Frank Cemetery.



Pallbearers: Adam Johnson, David Sneed, Thomas Johnson, Larry Johnson, Logan Johnson, Dillon Embry, Kyle Stratton, James Johnson, Jeremy Morgan, Christopher Honaker, and Chris Withers.

He was born September 16, 1939 in Russell County, KY. He was the son of the late John Thomas & Nellie Mae Daniel Johnson. He died Monday, February 2, 2015, in Jamestown, Russell County, KY, at the age of 75 years, four months, and 17 days.

He was a truck driver.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded inn death by a son, Lonnie Gene Johnson and a brother, Verlin Johnson.

Survivors include:
  • His wife: Nova Ann Johnson, Russell Springs, KY

  • Four sons: Ricky (Megan) Johnson, Ronald (Deidra) Johnson, Dallas (Jean) Johnson, and Marvin (Ann) Johnson, all of Russell Springs, KY

  • Three daughters: Peggy (Tim) Stratton, Lawrenceburg, KY; and Betty (Steve) McBeath, and Sandra (Cliff) Honaker, all of Russell Springs, KY

  • Twelve grandchildren: Adam Johnson, Jennifer (Dave) Sneed, Cheryl Johnson, Thomas Johnson, Larry Johnson, Logan Johnson, Rachel Johnson, Kyle Stratton, James Johnson, Kasey (Jeremy) Morgan, Emma Honaker, and Christopher Honaker

  • Six great grandchildren: Braxton Withers, Elijah Johnson, Emily Johnson, Jaxson Morgan, Reagan Sneed, and Madelyn Sneed
