Tim Beard, Milltown, KY (1967-2014)

He attended 3Trees Church and was a former sawmill worker. He was a native of Adair County, KY, and a resident of the county at the time of his death.He was the son of the late Charles (Smo Joe) Beard and Linda Clark Beard. His wife, Cathy Hadley Beard, survives. He leaves three direct living descendants.

Tim Beard, 47, of the Milltown Community of Adair County, died Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at the University of Louisville Hospital from injuries received in an automobile accident that occurred January 21, 2015 in Taylor County, KY.

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 10amCT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Eric Gilbert and Bro. Jason Hood officiating. Burial will be in Milltown Cemetery, Milltown Church Road, Milltownm, KY. Visitation after 4pmCT, Friday, January 30, 2015.

He was born September 28, 1967, in Adair County, to the late Charles “Smo Joe” & Linda Clark Beard. He died Wednesday, January 28, 2015, in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, at the age of 47 years and four months.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two nephews, Landon & Anthony Beard, and one niece, Brandy Beard.

He attended 3Trees Church and was a former sawmill worker.

Survivors Include:
  • His wife: Cathy Hadley Beard of Milltown, KY

  • One son: Tim Beard, Jr. of Milltown, KY

  • One daughter: Brittany (Josh) Cross of Columbia, KY

  • Three brothers: Jim (Marlene) Clark of Columbia, KY; Tony (Becky) Beard of Milltown, KY; and Teddy (Tabatha) Beard of Summersville, KY

  • One grandchild: Ian Ryder Cross

  • Two nephews

  • Five nieces
