He will be accorded full military honors by Columbia VFW Post 6097 at commital rites. He was a member of Bearwallow United Methodist Church, a farmer, He was a native of Leslie County, KY, and a resident of Adair County, KY, at the time of his death. He will be laid ot rest in his adopted county. He was the widower of Edith Shelly Reed. He leaves four direct living descendants.
