He served in the U.S. Army. He owned and operated his own business before retiring. He was the husband of Anna (Bell) Ray, who survives. He leaves eight direct living descendants.

Jack E. Ray, 71, passed away Mon.Jan.26, 2015 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, in Somerest, KY

The family chose care and cremation.



Jack E. Ray, 71, Russell County, KY (1943-2015)

He was born in Anderson, Madison County, IN on June 4,1943, a son of the late Deloris(Headley) and Estel Ray. He died Monday, January 26, 2015, in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY, at the age of 71 years, seven months, and 22 days.



Jack is also survived by:
  • Two sons: James Todd Ray and Scott Allen Ray

  • One daughter: Jackie Ray

  • Three sisters: Carol Mores, Diana Phillips and Linda Stephens

  • Five grandchildren also survive.

  • Jack is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Joyce Richardson and Betty Riggs.

    The family chose care and cremation. Send a condolence to the family of Jack E. Ray the H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel , 202 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY, in charge of arrangements.
