Funeral service, Sunday, January 25, 2015 at 1pmCTm at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, with Rev. Elbert Hadley the officiating clergy.. Visiting after 4:30pmCT, on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home. Burial in the Haven Hill Cemetery, 1276 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY.

She was born August 12, 1916. She was the daughter of the late Owen E and Media Petty Cheatham of Adair County, KY. She died Tuesday, January 20, 2015 in Palos Hills, Cook County, IL, at the age of 98 years, five months, and eight days.

She was preceded in death by a son, David Leon Murphy in July 2014.

She is survived by the following:
  • A son: Jimmy Murphy, and wife Louise of Palos Hills, IL

  • Four grandchildren

  • Ten great great grandchildren

  • Four great great grandchildren
