Leslie Milt (L.M) Blythe, 80, Burkesville, KY (1934-2014)

He was a native of Marrowbone, KY and a resident of Burkesville County, KY, at the time of his death. He was the son of the late Frank Homer Blythe and Stella Smith Blythe. He was the widower of Juanita Anderson Blythe. He leaves seven direct living descendants and one step descendant. He was a member of Marrowbone Baptist Church and a former construction worker and farmer.

Leslie Milt "L.M." Blythe age 80 of Burkesville, KY (a resident of Cumberland Valley Manor) formerly of Marrowbone, KY, passed away on Sunday, January 04, 2015 at the nursing home.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, January 08, 2015 at 1pmCt at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY, with Bro. Todd Bryant officiating. Burial will be in Murley Cemetery. The family requests visitation 3pm-9pmCT, Wednesday, January 07, 2015, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home in Burkesville.



Leslie Milt (L.M) Blythe, 80, Burkesville, KY (1934-2014)

L.M. was born on March 26, 1934 in Cumberland County, Kentucky. He was the son of the late Frank Homer Blythe and Stella Smith Blythe. He died Sunday, January 4, 2015, in Burkesville, KY, at the age of 80 years, nine months, and nine days.

He was a member of Marrowbone Baptist Church and a former construction worker and farmer.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Juanita Anderson Blythe, and one son, Gary Blythe.

Survivors include:
  • One daughter: Patricia Ann Rogers and her husband Bryan of Cookeville, TN

  • One son, Michael Blythe of Jeffersonville, IN

  • One brother: Bruce Blythe of Marrowbone, KY

  • A special niece: Janie Carter of Marrowbone, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Matthew Blythe and Lauren Blythe

  • One special grandchild: April Anderson of Burkesville, KY

  • Two great grandchildren

  • One step-grandchild

  • And three step-great-grandchildren
