A Christmas Wish: Working for C/AC Common Goals As we reflect on the many blessings of 2014 and look forward to a new and exciting 2015 year, may each of us forget about every day drudgeries and be filled with the true spirit of the season each day...FAITH, HOPE, PEACE and LOVE. May every greeting be filled with good wishes and cheer, may every word and deed be filled with kindness, and every thought be filled with peace and goodwill. - BRENDA MANN By Brenda Mann, President Columbia-Adair County Chamber of Commerce On behalf of myself, the Columbia-Adair Chamber of Commerce staff and the Board of Directors, I want to say a heartfelt thank you for your hard work in your profession and your volunteer support of activities and events in our community. It takes strong partnerships to address our needs and for us to reach our common goals of improving the prosperity and quality of life in our county. As the recently elected Chamber president, I along with the Board of Directors look forward to working with you during the upcoming year to identify, plan and put into place trainings, programs and activities to support and strengthen businesses, the economy, workforce and the community. We appreciate the support of our Board of Directors, our members and the business community as we work hard to bring the best services to those we serve. As we reflect on the many blessings of 2014 and look forward to a new and exciting 2015 year, may each of us forget about every day drudgeries and be filled with the true spirit of the season each day...FAITH, HOPE, PEACE and LOVE. May every greeting be filled with good wishes and cheer, may every word and deed be filled with kindness, and every thought be filled with peace and goodwill. We extend deepest appreciation to our military past and present for their dedication and courage in defending our nation and the freedoms we hold dear. To all those serving, many away from their loved ones this Christmas, our blessings and prayers are extended to you and your families. Best wishes to each of you and your families for a happy and safe Christmas holiday and a blessed, healthy, and prosperous new year.
