She was the daughter of the late Robert Elmer and Nola Brummett Loy. She died Tuesday, December 23, 2014, in Ypsilanti, Washtenaw Couny, Michigan, at the age of 84 years, two months, and 29 days. She was preceded in death by her husband: Bob Churchill and the following siblings: John Birtrus Loy, Robert Dellus Loy, Clifton Loy, Albert Wesley Loy, Elmer Joy Jr. , Victoria Green, Sophia Loy Wheelock and Kathleen Buchanan.
