J.E. Ooten age 60 of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Cumberland County Hospital.

Funeral service will be Friday, December 19, 2014 at 12pm noon CT, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 North Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in Burkesville Cemetery, Old Columbia Road, Burkesville, KY. Family requests visitation on Thursday, December 18, 2014 from 3pmCT until 9pmCT at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home in Burkesville, KY.

J.E. was born on February 05, 1954 in Barren County, Kentucky. He was the son of the late Elmer Ooten and Lizzie Spears Ooten. He died Wednesday, December 17, 2014, in Burkesville, Cumberland County, KY, at the age of 60 years, 10 months, and 12 days.

He was a member of Highland Chapel United Methodist Church.

Survivors include:
  • Three aunts: Linda Appleby and her husband Raymond of Burkesville, KY; Mabel Carter of Campbellsville, KY; and Shirley Stone of Gallatin, TN

  • And a many cousins and friends
