Victoria Pike: On gas prices, coming home; new bull is named

As we came through Elizabethtown this afternoon, gas was down another dime to $2.23. Think we need a contest to see when it will hit $2? As always, the Adair County line looks good after a long day in the big city.



I must soon get back to reporting on all things Gradyville instead of my travels to the big city.

One bit of news to report is that the new bull has finally been named.

Miss Nancy Moran Fouser suggested we name him after the sink hole dweller, Bud Mullins. So for short we will be calling his highness simply Bud.

The girls are quite smitten with Bud. He is very handsome and has all the manners of a true southern Kentucky Angus gentleman. - Victoria Pike
