Adair County High School's Indian Trust Bank opened on October 29, 2014 for this school year. The Indian Trust Bank is merged with the Financial Services l/ll classes. This class teaches the daily operations of a bank in conjunction with the history of banking, Federal Reserve, mortgage and installment loans, check writing and statement reconciliation, workplace safety, personnel issues and other financial content, as well.

Parents and guardians, are encouraged to have their child participate in the services offered by the school bank. Learning to handle money is rewarding to our student customers and teaches them the responsibility of paying back loans, or contributing to a Christmas club, prom or regular savings account.

Student excitement is generated by watching the compound interest grow the savings accounts to a higher balance. Indian Trust Bank is sponsored by Community Trust Bank and with the help of our sponsor we are able to pay our savings customers 3% compounded monthly.

Our Teller training and interviews are conducted by Mrs. Lee Ann Collins, Branch Manager and Mrs. Tina Parson, Customer Service Representative and Ms. Loretta Rainwater, Teacher.

Remember, to always feed the pig first!! Save! Save!
