Brenda Jones, age 67 years, of Columbia, KY, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at 3:20pmCT, at Golden Living Greenhill in Greensburg, KY.

Funeral services will be Saturday, November 29, 2014, at 11amCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Ronnie Janes the officiating clergy. Interment in Antioch Cemetery, 3422 Wheeler Hill Road, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be after 4:30pmCT, Friday, November 28, 2014, at the funeral home.

She was born on Thursday, November 28, 1946 in Adair County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Clifton & Bernice Stotts Janes. She died Wednesday, November 26, 2014, in Greensburg, Green County, KY, at the age of 67 years, 11 months, and 29 days.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Carl Jones of Columbia, KY, and the following:
  • Daughters: Toni Jones and Angie Jones, both of Tennessee

  • Two brothers: Bro. Ronnie Janes of Columbia, KY; and Kenneth Janes of Columbia, KY
  • One sister: Phyllis Sneed of Columbia, KY

  • Five grandchildren

  • Two great grandchildren

  • Nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends
She was a member of Amazing Grace Community Church, a store clerk working at Lermans Bros., worked at Westlake Regional Hospital and was a house wife.
