There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Abell conducted at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1765 New Columbia Road, Campbellsville, KY on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at 10amCT/11amET. Bro. Blake Jessie will be officiating. Interment will follow in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 700 Old US 68, Campbellsville, KY. Visitation will be 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET, at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home. Mr. William Robert (Billy) Abell, Taylor Co., KY (1934-2014) Mr. William Robert "Billy" Abell was born in Marion County, Kentucky on September 15, 1934 into the marriage of Conrad and Georgie (Murphy) Abell. He departed this life on Friday, November 21, 2014 in Campbellsville having attained the age of 80 years, two months, and six days. Mr. Abell was married to Mrs. Wilma (Hicks) Abell, who preceded in death. He had a strong work ethic, and was a carpenter and mechanic by trade.
