Band will have escort from Blue Raider Stadium leaving for BoA

By Shamarie Claiborne

The latest update I can pass along is that the ADAIR Band will leave Lindsey Wilson Blue Raider Stadium at 10amCT, headed west on Russell Road, then north on Jamestown Street to the Square, and will exit the Public Square via Campbellsville Street.

There will be an official City of Columbia, Adair County Fire Department, and Adair County EMS escort - followed by our Mighty ADAIR Band convoy, including charter buses. We're hoping as many people as possible will be waving them off. The plans now are for a lunch stop in Elizabethtown, then we'll head north for Indianapolis, Indiana, where, this evening at 8:30pmCT/9:30pmET, ADAIR will take the field , Lucas Oil Stadium, 500 S Capitol with a goal of being the Third Adair County High School Marching Band to win a BoA National Championship in our Class - adding 2014 to victories in 2005 and 2007.

The kids are really excited about this one. We have great Tradition of Excellence to maintain. With your prayers and support and as many Adair Countians rocking Lucas Stadium as possible, we know we can do it. - Shamarie
