Mr. Larry Wayne Curry, 68, of Greensburg, Kentucky, departed this life on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital. Greensburg, KY.

The funeral services for Mr. Larry Wayne Curry was conducted at 10amCT, , Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 700 Old US 68, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. Gleason Bloyd and Bro. Leo Curry officiated. Visitation was 3pm-8pmCT, Tuesday, November 11, 2014, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT, Wednesday until time of the funeral service.



Pallbearers: Eugene Coffey, Roy Emby, Jr., Boyd Curry, Clark Marshall, Ralph Pierce. and Lonnie Ray.

Honorary Pallbearers: Wade Allen Lile, Morris Beard, Richard Corbin, Donnie Coomer. Hollis Milby, and William Allen Judd.

Mr. Larry Wayne Curry of Greensburg, Kentucky, was the son of the late Roy Alton Curry and Lovie Christine Clark Curry. He was born on April 3, 1946 in Green County, Kentucky, and departed this life on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital, Greensburg, Green County, KY. He was 68 years, seven months, and five days of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a carpenter for the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Rachel Graham Curry of Greensburg, having united in marriage on August 13, 1964. Other survivors include the following:
  • A daughter: Sonya Curry of Campbellsville, KY

  • A son: Roy Curry of Greensburg, KY

  • Grandchildren: Brad Atwood, Amanda Atwood, and Tara Curry, all of Greensburg, KY

  • A great-grandchild: Bruce Underwood of Greensburg, KY

  • aA brother and sister-in-law: Leo and Wanda Curry of Greensburg, KY

  • And a host of other relatives and friends.
Mr. Curry was preceded in death by his grandson: Justin Atwood on May 5, 2012; and two brothers and two sisters. Memorials are suggested to the Gideon Bible Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.

The Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY in charge of arrangements.
