Mr. Dennis C. Lobb, Green County, KY (1941-2014)

He was a native of Green County, KY, and a resident of the county at the time of his death. He was the son of the late late Woodson Lobb and Vera Mars Lobb. His wife of 51 years, Mary Ann Bishop Lobb, survives. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended the Liberty Missionary Baptist Church. He was also a forklift driver for General Electric.

Mr. Dennis C. Lobb, 73, of Greensburg, Kentucky, departed this life on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at the Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.

The funeral services for Mr. Dennis C. Lobb will be conducted at 1pmCT, Thursday, November 13, 2014 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Green County Memory Gardens in Summersville. Bro. Jerry Judd and Bro. Carlos Compton will be officiating. Visitation is requested 4pm-7pmCT, Wednesday, November 12, 2014, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT, Thursday until time of the funeral service.



Pallbearers: Robert Davis, Olin Bagby, Stacy Milby, H.L. Wright, Joe Shofner, David Hudgins, Brian Bishop, Michael Varela.

Mr. Dennis C. Lobb, Green County, KY (1941-2014)

Mr. Dennis C. Lobb, 73, of Greensburg, Kentucky, son of the late Woodson Lobb and Vera Mars Lobb, was born on August 29, 1941, and departed this life on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at the Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. He was 73 years, two months, and 10 days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended the Liberty Missionary Baptist Church. He was also a forklift driver for General Electric. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Mary Ann Bishop Lobb of Greensburg, having united in marriage on April 8, 1963.

Other survivors include the following:
  • Children: Anita Varela of Michigan, Dennye Lee Lobb of Greensburg, KY; Mark Lobb of Campbellsville, KY; Neal Bishop of Campbellsville, KY; Mike Lobb of Greensburg, KY; and Lisa Webb of Louisville, KY

  • A sister: Diane Brown of Greensburg

  • Eleven grandchildren

  • Twelve great-grandchildren

  • and a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorials are suggested to the Gideon Bible Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.

The Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY in charge of arrangements.
