LWC Women's Soccer steady at No. 4 in latest NAIA Top 25 Poll

COLUMBIA, KY - The Lindsey Wilson women's soccer team stayed at No. 4 in the most recent NAIA Coaches' Top 25 Poll, the national office announced on Tuesday, November 10, 2014.



The Blue Raiders received 527 voting points from the panel of national raters.

Lindsey Wilson (11-3-3) is coming off a 9-0 win against Cumberlands (KY) in the Mid-South Conference Tournament Quarterfinals, in which the team scored five goals in the second half.

Cumberland (TN) is the only other MSC team ranked in the poll, falling from sixth to ninth with 440 voting points.

The remaining top five teams in the poll are the same from the previous poll.

Embry-Riddle (FL) remained the No. 1 ranked team receiving 584 voting points and 13 first-place votes. William Carey (MS) sits at No. 2 with 579 voting points and eight first-place votes, while Concordia (OR) is No. 3 receiving 552 voting points. Westmont (CA) is the fifth-ranked team and received 518 voting points.
