Epicurean Kentuckian: Kenlake offers Nature's Bounty Buffet, Sat 15 Nov 2014

AURORA, KY - Kenlake State Resort Park, 542 Kenlake Road, Hardin, KY invites everyone to its Nature’s Bounty Buffet on 12pm noon CT-8pmCT, Satuday, 15 Nov 2014. The buffet will include bison carved on the line, catfish from Kentucky Lake, fried chicken, duck gumbo, barbecued wild boar, rabbit potpie, frog legs, elk chili and various side dishes. Desserts will include turtle pie, baked Alaska, cherry cheesecake, chocolate dump cake and cobbler. The adult price is $23.95; children ages 6-12 are $11.49 and children 5 and under are free. The price includes a beverage. For more information, call the park at 1-800-325-0143. Kenlake State Resort Park is located minutes away from the Land Between the Lakes, a 170,000-acre nature lover’s paradise and environmental education area. Kenlake offers lodging, cottages, a campground and restaurant.
