Baseball picked to finish 4th in MSC preseason poll

COLUMBIA, KY -The Lindsey Wilson baseball team is picked to finish fourth in the Mid-South Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll released today by conference officials. The Blue Raiders received 28 voting points, two ahead of St. Catharine (KY) (26) in the fifth spot. Reigning NAIA National Champions Cumberland (TN) is the favorite to win the conference receiving 47 voting points and five first-place votes. The Bulldogs went 49-20 last season, winning the MSC Tournament title.

Georgetown (KY) is picked to finish second with 45 voting points and the final three first-place votes, followed by Campbellsville (KY.) in third with 34 voting points. Lindsey Wilson is coming off a 2014 season in which it finished 26-29 overall. The Blue Raiders fell to Cumberland in the MSC Tournament opening round and Bluefield (VA) in the elimination game last season.
