Anna Mary Skaggs, Taylor Co., KY (1923-2014)

She professed faith in Christ and was a lifelong member and one of the oldest members of Mt. Roberts Baptist Church. She was a native of Taylor County, KY, and a resident at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late Earl Skaggs and Mattie Mathely Skaggs.

Anna Mary Skaggs, 91, of Campbellsville, KY, died at 12:15amET, Sunday, November 2, 2014 in Greensburg, KY.

Funeral service 12pmCT/1pmET, Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at The Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY by Rev. Michael Ticknor. Burial willl be in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 700 Old US 68, Campbellsville, KY. Visitation will be 10am-12pmCT/11am-1pmET, Tuesday, November 4, 2014, at the funeral home.



Pallbearers: Ronnie Brown, Jeffrey Durham, Alan Milby, Damon Miller, Terry Skaggs, Trent Skaggs & Michael Sullivan.

Anna Mary Skaggs, Taylor Co., KY (1923-2014)


Anna Mary Skaggs of Campbellsville, KY, was the daughter of the late Earl Skaggs and Mattie Matherly Skaggs. She was born Tuesday, July 24, 1923 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died Sunday, November 2, 2014 in Greensburg, Green County, KY, at the age of 91 years, three months, and nine days.

She professed faith in Christ and was a lifelong member and one of the oldest members of Mt. Roberts Baptist Church.

She was a former employee of Lerman’s Department Store and a retired employee of Houchens Grocery.

She is survived by the following:
  • Four sisters and one brother: Helen Brown, David Skaggs, Mabel Sullivan, Arlene Milby and husband, Bill and Margaret Durham of Campbellsville, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers and one sister: Albert Guinn Skaggs, Ruby Miller and J.T. Skaggs.
