Mr. Morris Ray Nunn, Green County, KY (1947-2014)

He was a Green County, KY native and a resident of Oldham County, KY, at the time of his death. He was the son of Isabel Russell Nunn and the late Harold Ray Nunn. He is survived by his wieof 45 years, Carlotta McCubbins Nunn. He leaves six direct living descendants. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Greenwood Church of the Nazarene. He was a retired inspector for the Ford Assembly Plant in Louisville, Kentucky, and was a veteran of the Vietnam era from 1966 thru 1968 stationed in Germany.

Mr. Morris Ray Nunn of La Grange, Kentucky, son of Isabell Russell Nunn of Louisville, Kentucky and the late Harold Ray Nunn, was born on May 15, 1947 in Green County, Kentucky, and departed this life on Friday, October 31, 2014 at the University of Louisville Hospital. He was 67 years, 5 months, and 16 days of age.

The funeral services for Mr. Morris Ray Nunn will be conducted at 11amCT, Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at the Cowherd and Parrot Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, Kentucky with burial to follow in the Wilson Cemetery in Green County. Bro. James Walker will be officiating. Visitation is requested from 3pmCT-8pmCT, Monday, November 3, 2014, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7:00 A.M., Tuesday until time of the funeral service.

Mr. Morris Ray Nunn of La Grange, Kentucky, was the son of Isabell Russell Nunn of Louisville, Kentucky and the late Harold Ray Nunn. He was born on May 15, 1947 in Green County, Kentucky, and departed this life on Friday, October 31, 2014 at the University of Louisville Hospital, Louisville,Jefferson County, KY. He was 67 years, 5 months, and 16 days of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Greenwood Church of the Nazarene. He was a retired inspector for the Ford Assembly Plant in Louisville, Kentucky, and was a veteran of the Vietnam era from 1966 thru 1968 stationed in Germany. Mr. Nunn is survived by his wife of 45 years, Carlotta McCubbins Nunn of LaGrange, having united in marriage on May 24, 1969.

  • A daughter and son-in-law: Jennifer Ray and Richard Donovan of Shelbyville, KY

  • A son and daughter-in-law: Bradley and Tyra Nunn of Shelbyville, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Shelby Rae Donovan, Patrick Lleweyn Donovan, and Camlin Hayley Nunn all of Shelbyville, KY

  • A great-grandchild: Connor Ray Fuery of Shelbyville, KY

  • Two sisters and a brother-in-law: Patricia Nunn of Louisville, KY; and Barbara and Wilburn Wooden of Taylorsville, KY

  • Two brothers and sisters-in-law: Davis and Beverly Nunn, all of Louisville, KY; and Mark and Charlotte Nunn of Chicago, Illinois

  • and a host of other relatives and friends.
