Denise "JoJo" Brown Walden, 64, departed this life Friday, October24, 2014 at the Norton Hospital In Louisville, KY.

A memorial service for Denise "JoJo" Walden will be conducted 1pmCT, Sunday, November 2, 2014, at the Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W Court Steet, Greensburg, KY. There will be no burial, the family chose cremation. Friends of Denise "JoJo" Walden may call from 11amCT, Sunday until the funeral hour at 1pmCT, at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home.

Denise "JoJo" Brown Walden was born Tuesday, September 19, 1950 in Edinburgh, Indiana. She was he daughte of the late Chester L. Brown and Deloris Cornelius Brown-Fuel. She departed this life Friday, October 24, 2014 at the Norton Hospital in Louisville, Jefferson Countym KY, having attained the age of sixty-four years, one month and five days. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her children: Troy A. Nolan and Stacy L. Nolan and her brother: Robert L. Brown.

She worked as a bartender and waitress. She was a lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary to Post 5813, Greensburg, KY. She was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, the Moose Lodge, American Legion and ABATE. Denise loved her family and enjoyed her dogs.

She is survived by the following:
  • Two daughters: Tracy Jo Nolan-Jordan of Indiana and Tabatha DeAnn and Bowers of Greensburg, KY

  • Four sisters: Carolyn Sue Endicott, Gertrude L. Jones, Edna Ruth Stopparo and Jennifer Harris

  • Five grandchildren: Michael A. Rice, Mitchell A. Rice, Matthew A. Jacobs, Mark A. Rice and Reid A. Newkirk

  • A great grandson: Miles Rice

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
