Larry Wayne Scott age 66 of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at T. J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY.

Funeral services will be Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 2pmCT at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main ST. Burkesville, KY with burial in Dutch Creek Cemetery. Family requests visitation 5pm-9pmCT Friday, October 10, 2014 at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home in Burkesville, KY.



Larry Wayne Scott, 66, Cumberland County, KY (1948-2014)

He was born on Friday, October 08, 1948 in Cumberland County, Kentucky. He was the son the late Charlie B. and Elnora Fields Scott. He died Wednesday, October 8, 2014, in Glasgow, Barren County, KY, at the age of 66 years.

He was a retired employee of the Housing Authority of Burkesville, KY.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Polly Scott Crawley and one brother Hermon B. Scott.

Survivors include:
  • One daughter: Stephanie Charlene Scott and her husband Parker of Burkesville, KY

  • One grandson: Kelvin Dewayne Scott of Burkesville, KY

  • One sister: Betty Scott Garmon and her husband Phillip of Burkesville, KY

  • Special friend: Jenny Blythe and her children and grandchild, Chris Blythe, Tiffany Moore, Bridgette Blythe, and Khloe Harding.
