Glenda Kay Wethington, Columbia, KY passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY. She was 57.

Funeral services are 10amCT/11amET, Monday, October 6, 2014 at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 5075 KY 551, Liberty, KY (Clementsville) with Rev. Pat Dolan officiating. Burial is in St. Bernard Cemetery. Visitation is 4pm-8pmCT/5pm-10pmET, Sunday, October 5, 2014, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY6pmCT/7pmET.



Glenda Kay Wethington, 57, Casey County, KY (1957-2014)


Born May 5, 1957 in Taylor County, KY, she was the daughter of James and Eldora Beard Allen of Campbellsville, KY. She died Wednesday, October 1, 2014, in Lexington, Fayette County, KY, at the age of 57 years, four months, and 27 days. She was a homemaker and member of the St. Bernard Catholic Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Billy Joe Wethington of Casey Creek, and the following:
  • Two sons: Jeremy (and Beth) Wethington and Casey (and Shannon) Wethington both of Knifley, KY

  • A daughter: Kristy (and Nick) Bright of Knifley, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Maddie Ray Wethington, Ellie MayAnn Wethington and Sadie Kay Bright

  • A step-grandchild: Jimmy Anderson

  • Two brothers: Ronnie Allen and James Rex "Bubby" Allen both of Campbellsville, KY

  • And three sisters: Vickie Quinn and Sandra Cissell both of Campbellsville, KY; and Shannon Gilbert of Georgetown, KY

  • And a host nieces, nephews, great nieces and great-nephews
She was preceded in death by a son, Troy Wethington.
