Robert (Doggie) Walters, 77, of Campbellsville, KY, died at 11:04pmET, Tuesday, September 30, 2014 in Campbellsville.

Funeral services will be at 10amCT/11amET, Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, by Bro. Rhonda Arnett and Bro. Arnold Sprowles. Visitation will be 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-9pmET, Friday, October 3, 2014 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. Burial will be in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 700 Old US 68, Campbellsville, KY.



Robert "Doggie" Walters, Taylor Co., KY, (1937-2014)

Robert "Doggie" Walters of Campbellsville, KY, was the son of the late James Walters and Mattie Pierce Walters. He was born Wednesday, February 3, 1937, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He Tuesday, September 30, 2014 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 77 years, seven months, and 27 days.

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Zion Separate Baptist Church. He was a retired employee of GE after 27 years of service. He united in marriage to Carolyn Harrison July 6, 1973. Besides his wife, Carolyn Harrison Walters, he is survived by the following:
  • One daughter: Robin Michelle Walters of Campbellsville, KY

  • Two brothers: Larry Walters and wife, Diane; and Eddie Walters and wife, Linda, of Campbellsville

  • Special cousin: Tammie Baumgardner of Campbellsville, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews

  • and many other relatives and friends
Expressions of sympathy should be donations to Zion Separate Baptist Church and may be made at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.
