Burkesville's Riverboat Festival Scheduled for 10-11 Oct 2014

A Riverboat Revue will take place along the Cumberland River on the walking track at Veteran's Park, 214 Upper River Street, Burkesville, KY, with crafts, food, demonstrations, games, a BBQ Cook-off and a Saturday night, showing of the movie Field of Dreams.


On Friday 10 Oct 2014, the Riverboat will come ashore at 5pmCT.

Booths with food, crafts, games, old fashioned photos, and inflatables, artist's demonstrations and a chainsaw artist will open Saturday, 11 Oct 2014 at 9amCT. All booth are local non-profit organizations, and all profits will stay in the county.

Two more riverboat shows are scheduled on Saturday, 11 Oct 2014, at 11amCT and 5pmCT, along with a BBQ cook-off. The cook-off will pay a cash prize and receive a trophy.

Saturday night at 6:30pmCT, the Cumberland County Public Library will show Field of Dreams on their new outdoor theatre. This event is at the Veteran's Park. .
